Cabinet Construction Breakdown

Standard Overlay vs. Full Overlay

Standard Overlay

Also known as partial overlay, this style features doors that cover only part of the face frame, leaving a visible gap between doors and drawers. Standard overlay cabinets offer a classic, traditional look and are a more cost-effective option while still providing timeless appeal.

Full Overlay

Full overlay features doors that cover the face frame, creating a modern and seamless aesthetic. This style delivers a clean, continuous appearance with minimal visible gaps between doors and drawers. Full overlay construction offers a more custom, high-end look—available in our semi-custom series.
